The Declaration of Presidents and Rectors “Camino de Santiago entre Volcanes”

The Declaration of Presidents and Rectors “Camino de Santiago entre Volcanes” is the commitment of those involved to:

  • Value the “Camino de Santiago entre Volcanes” as a key instrument for the structuring of the territory of the Canary Islands archipelago.
  • Support the development of actions between universities, the business community, active society and the Canary Islands Government aimed at promoting the “Camino de Santiago entre Volcanes”.
  • Subscribe to the desire of a new model of tourism based on the maintenance of environmental values and the heritage of local communities. Affirm the importance of promoting and sharing the superior knowledge of our universities, as well as the need to respect the cultural diversity and dignity of this land.
  • Encourage the institutions and the Canarian community in the pursuit of their goals, so that their actions may be an example of excellence and a reference in the collaboration with the universities and society.
