Dear members of the community of the Compostela Group of Universities,

On behalf of the Executive Committee and CGU’s team, I send our best wishes for the year 2019. This will be a special year for the Compostela Group of Universities, as we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the birth of our international network. A network that continues to defend, with the same enthusiasm as at the time of its birth, the values of cooperation and integration embodied by the Camino de Santiago.

Moreover, this is not the only event on our agenda, since for the first time we will approach America to celebrate our general assembly at the University of Guadalajara. A special occasion in which you will also have the opportunity to vote in the presidential elections.

As this is such a special year for the Compostela Group of Universities, we look forward to the active participation of your universities in our activities and initiatives. We shall continue the activities, which should involve even more students and academics from the member universities.

I would like to conclude this message by wishing you a prosperous new year,

Marek Kręglewski
President
